More discussion...

So, Who is the most influential person in your spiritual development and why? Both present and past is fair game.

  1. Right now, it would probably be C.S. Lewis. I've reread The Great Divorce and The Screwtape Letters at least five times each in the last year-and-a-half, and every time I come out with something new.

  2. I am currently on the prowl. If I could have an open forum with those that raised me this would be one of the topics that I would bring up.

  3. My parents. They beat it into my head as much as they could. This caused me to stray, to look for any other answer besides Christ. However, after my thorough investigation into many religions beliefs and non belief, it turns out that Christianity is the simplest and(at the same time) the most complex answer. The truest most profound answer, the only true answer.

My sister had a profound effect on me as well. She really understood true love and compassion while in the midst of holding true to your identity in Christ. She guided me when I was really struggling, just helping me, believing that God had all the answers, and that we could work it out, as long as I lived unselfishly and sought the truth.
